Anna M. Banc-Husu, MD, MSCI is a pediatric transplant hepatologist at Texas Children's Hospital and an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. She earned her MD degree from Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine and completed her pediatrics residency at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Subsequently, she completed her pediatric gastroenterology and advanced transplant hepatology fellowships at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. She also completed a Master's of Science in Clinical Investigation at Northwestern University, The Graduate School during her time in fellowship. Her clinical and research interests include acute-on-chronic liver failure in children, and advancing the multi-disciplinary care of critically ill children with liver disease and liver failure.
