Kelstan Ellis, DO, MS-CR, MBe is a palliative care physician and bioethicist at Childrens Mercy Kansas City and the medical director of pediatric palliative care at the University of Kansas Health System. She received her medical degree and masters in bioethics from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and her masters in clinical research from the University of Kansas. She completed her pediatrics residency and palliative care fellowship at the University of Kansas. Her clinical interests include the intersection of ethics and palliative care, perinatal palliative care and palliative care for children with medical complexities.  She serves on the ethics committee at both CMKC and TUKHS, serving as the chair of the pediatric ethics subcommittee at the later.
