I am an Associate Professor of Surgery, Director of Live Donor Liver Transplantation, and Director of Intestinal Transplantation at Stanford University Medical School, Stanford Hospital and Clinics, and Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital, where I am involved with the largest pediatric transplant program in the country. I received my fellowship training and joined the staff at the University of Pittsburgh prior to moving to Stanford in 2002. Stanford has performed more than 40 en bloc heart/liver transplants, mostly in patients with congenital heart disease and FALD.
